Incense...

My world this week has been of incense, herb tea (especially peppermint ) & blankets....I have had a touch of the flu over the last few days...just enough to keep me down...There is something meditative in the way the smoke rises filling the air with the heavenly aroma of patchouli... Yes I am a fanatic of that particular scent......the other part of it is the holders....I would especially like to find that last one...they make beautiful incense pots in Nepal...

Take time to breathe this week.....

I'm addicted to incense, love it!
My favorite scent is Pineapple, but it is not always so easy to find it.
I recently bought some other scents, including Cannabis,
and I really like it.

Hope you feel better now!
Wishing you a lovely new week!
Hugs & Blessings from Jenny.

I love incense, though not patchouli (one of those scents you either love or hate, I think)...my preferences are Hem champa, Hem Sandalwood, and Balsam. These are beautiful holders; my favorite is the tiny domed one, one up from teh bottom. Have a good smelling week, and feel better soon!

You might love Patchouli incense from "Silence" if you can FIND it. I bought some from the Ten Thousand Villages store in Albany, NY, but it is not available online. I was teaching yoga to a group of ninth graders and had Silence Patchouli wafting in the air....One of the boys came in and said "What is that wonderful smell"? (He'd never experienced incence [or yoga] before.)After class the following week he came back into the room..."I just have to smell that wonderful incense"

I loved all your comments...and a list of new scents to try as well...There is someting so universal about incense...I agree Patchouli is a very very earthy scent...not for everyone...;) I am going to have to try the Cannabis incense...Didn't know they made that :)
