It is aptly named considering the amount of snow we have received lately....The native Americans named it so because it was a time of heavy snows which made the hunting hard...other names for this Full Moon are the Quickening Moon, Hunger Moon, Opening Buds Moon, Storm Moon, and the Trapper’s Moon.
With the Moon in Virgo this also means it is a time to take care of ourselves holistically....this is a time of contemplating where we are going in life & paying attention of the simple everyday things....to do lists, chores, personal well being...focusing on completing these things in a meditative way can create a much calmer, stress free space in the home...less mind clutter.....I know it works for me... I read this article today & wanted to share it with you....I thought the application of cleaning was perfect for this time in focusing on the practical aspects of living.......Full Moon In Virgo: Practical Magic
Enjoy your Moon time....
