DIY Friday- The Hobbit Hole

"In a hole in the ground there lived a Hobbit."
J. R. R. Tolkien

With all the excitement of the Hobbit movie
coming out in December, I have seen some posting
of the Hobbit homes, so I thought why not add one to the Page Project...

The Moss Hill over by the Frog pond
is perfect for a tiny underground home...

so a slab from a log, halved
& buried in the ground in front a rock...

Add windows & a door from a hole saw...
Some scroll work from old wire...

Lots of moss piled all around...
then let Mother Nature do the rest...

Oh yes, my lilies are out in the pond...

Of course, the photo session would not
be complete without Miss Chicklet...
she is making sure the moss is just so...

She loves the camera & I love her <3
Happy Weekend everyone!

This is sooo funny... I'm getting to the point that I'd be disappointed if Miss Chicklet wasn't in at least one of your outdoor pictures. I actually look for her. What a hoot!

Hello Linda, I was so happy to receive your comment today and I'm over the moon that you decided to follow me as well. What a sweetie pie. Glad you like the aprons, if you make any, please post them, so I can see.
I just got back from Steve's blog and I see that you are his 50th follower. Just this morning he was telling me, one more follower and I'll have 50. He is going to be on cloud nine tonight when he see you there. Thanks so much. I had to do some persuading to get him to even start a blog, and now he is really enjoy it. I love to see him get excited every time someone leaves him a comment or followers . . . Have a wonderful week. Connie :)
