Ah, you took me on a trip down Memory Lane... I Loved that Era and my kids like to joke I got 'stuck' in it and remained an Old Hippie... *winks* But what a place to remain for a Free Spirit, right? *LOL* Wish I'd kept all my Vintage Hippie Wardrobe, can't believe the prices it's fetching now that the current generation is fascinated and appreciative of it! I had some hand embroidered Dashiki Style Velvet tops that were to die for... coarse I could never wear them, I was a size "0" back then, all 96 lbs. of me. *Ha ha ha*

LOL I think we all were a little smaller back then but the memories are great.,..I wish I had kept some of my clothes too... especially that suede fringe jacket!!! I miss that one...I think much of it was the philosophic outlook of what could be that keeps me nostalgic...I just would love to recapture it...:)

The crazy thing is, they all look like us now...LOL...but today I liberated myself, I cut off a pair of jeans that just wouldn't shrink, can't wait for the fringe...now I need to find a pair of John Lennon glasses(bifocals)!!!

We were lucky to have lived during the awakening, to hear the sitars, smell the patchouli, feel the flower power and make love under the stars...far out dude!!!

Thanks for the memories!!!

These photos remind me of my mother..some of the photos I have of her were during this era...she had long hair, lots of flowery accessories...and always looked happy. :)
